At an Italian military airport, the control tower receives a report of an aircraft about to land due to engine failure. Marshal La Notte is immediately assigned to deal with the situation, fearing the hassle he would face.

However, when the cockpit door opens, La Notte discovers that there are US Army auxiliaries on board, twenty beautiful young women accompanied by their commander, Rebecca O'Connor. This woman is extremely bossy and determined to prevent her girls from getting involved in embarrassing situations with the officers.

However, the following day, Rebecca discovers that the pilot of the plane is drunk, several of the girls are missing and Julia, the pilot's understudy, has run away from her boyfriend. In addition, Julia has disguised herself as a man to avoid being recognised, but is mistaken for a colleague by Lieutenant Gianni. From here, a series of misunderstandings begin, while the other girls have fun with La Notte and the other soldiers.
