Carlo Martinelli is a young university psychology student still living in his parents' house. On the initiative of his father, who pretends to have commitments in Saudi Arabia, Carlo is taken to a seaside resort with the intention of bringing him up to date and making him better acquainted with the world of women.
Once at the hotel, Carlo makes the acquaintance of Angela Marconcini, the pretty hotel manager, with whom he falls in love. What his father does not know is that Carlo already has skills in dealing with women, using psychology as his weapon of seduction.
While his father tries to help him find a companion, Carlo starts courting Angela. However, Angela discovers by chance that Carlo is not at all as shy or awkward as he had led her to believe, which makes her furious at the lie.
Meanwhile, Carlo's mother, during a conversation with a friend, discovers that her husband is not in Saudi Arabia but is at the seaside with Carlo. Angry, she reaches the seaside resort and threatens divorce.
At this point, Carlo and Angela appear, now reconciled, and tell Carlo's mother that Angela is expecting a baby.
