Alamo and Mike are two bungling magicians desperate for fame in the Wild West. One day, they are invited by a Native American tribe to perform their magic acts. During their performance, the two magicians make the wife of the tribe's chief disappear, but are unable to make her reappear, which forces them to flee in a hurry to avoid revenge from the natives.
They arrive in Paradise City, which has been renamed Danger City after the killing of the sheriff. Here, Alamo and Mike are warmly welcomed by the crowd, despite having no knowledge of the law and no training to govern a town. Initially, the two magicians get on well in town and fall in love with the daughters of the deceased sheriff.
However, their happiness is soon disturbed by the arrival of a fearsome bandit who is also one of the many individuals Alamo and Mike have tricked with their tricks. When they are unmasked, they are sentenced to death by hanging. Fortunately, the two manage to escape execution and flee the town, making their escape as they try to avoid the pursuing bandit.
