Simona Girardi, a young and beautiful daughter of an industrialist, is transferred to Trani and settles in a luxurious villa. She enrols in the final year of the local high school and immediately becomes the centre of attention of the boys. However, Simona only shows interest in Mario D'Olivo, one of her classmates.
The other girls at school, driven by envy and jealousy, start spreading gossip about Mario. They tell him that he is used to seducing and then mercilessly abandoning girls. Furthermore, they suggest to Simona a plan to take revenge on Mario: make him fall deeply in love and then leave him suddenly, causing him the same suffering he would inflict on other girls.
However, the girls' plan will not go as planned and things will develop in an unexpected way.
